I always wanted to make a passion project, a magnum opus if you will. I have made some comic attempts in the past and they taught me a lot, but i wanted to make something more experimental and original. Now i try my own technique with minimal paneling or action, where the characters are posed like in an illustration and their memories or thoughts intermix with the real scene. I would say its a "stream of consciousness" story where the main character comments on events, reminisches things or just goes on internal monologues lol. Essentially, the writing complements the art and worldbuilding rather than the opposite.
So "odoiporos" as in greek "Wayfarer" is about a fictional post apocalyptic greek setting where an unknown nuclear war left the earth with scars and now vegetation has exposed "organs" and a lot of its anthropomorphic residents have reverted back to pre industrial societies. The main trio is a former old raider with death and religious anxiety, a somewhat wealthy 20 year old that tries to escape her social situation and a folk orphan girl just wandering around. They search for a pagan "witch" in order to save an ill priest.
