A place for some concept art that mostly relates to my main project. I have started a new "cookbook" series with fictional recipes that will enhance my overall worldbuilding, because i love cooking and also drawing food in general.

A witch and a priest from comic. The witch especially is inspired by slavic witches slightly,although iam not very accustomed to slavic mythologies to be honest. Both characters are also inspired by masquerades

The main idea behind this is using roots as herbal medicine. Both garlic and ginger have healing properties. People would also make use of the accompanying organs since they are full of fats and this would battle malnutrition in an apocalyptic setting

So fish recipes are popular here bc of the proximity of most places to the sea and the islands. This concept art shows the dichotomy of religions in my worldbuilding. The sun religion is an hegemonic religion tied to qualities like self control, social order, discipline and patriarchal values, whilst the Mother earth religion is a pagan religion with qualities like environmentalism, tribalism, fertility, sexuality and matriarchal values. Essentially the dichotomy is between society and nature.
